SPACEX
Legacy
From 2015 to 2019, I worked with SpaceX as a Rocket Propulsion Development and Test Engineer. Primarily focusing on the second stage engine (MVacD) of the Falcon 9 rocket, I advanced through the roles of "Test Engineer" and "Test Conductor" all the way up to that of a “Test Director”, regularly managing testing operations and performing primary data review and analysis for both development and flight engines.

Comprehensively speaking, I was a part of 50 orbital missions and over 300 engine hotfire tests. This included the roles of Test Director/Texas RE for 35 MVacD flight engines, all of which completed their respective missions for a variety of different customers and orbits. Additionally, my team and I cut the average flight test operations requirement by more than 50%, facilitating more flight vehicle launches as well as more engine qualification and development testing.

During this time, I was also responsible for two separate sub-operations of engine testing. As “Test Stand Lead”, I oversaw facility-side maintenance, safety, and functionality, and as “Software Lead”, I led the development of SpaceX Ground Software autosequences as well as the full implementation of Hyperion reports and data review.
